Despite of two withdrawals, the first when he was in 2nd position
and the second while he was in 5th position,
he ended the championship in 11th position,
running all the competitions on circuits he had never seen (Cartagena,
Albacete, Jerez de la Frontera, Valencia, etc...).
Thanks to the his good performances during his first experiences, Federico
gained the opportunity to start in 2 rounds of the Spanish Championship (CEV),
with a bike he had never tried before: the 125 GP. He runs his first GP race
in Valencia and wins the Round B obtaining the chance to start in the
Sunday's race ending 27th on
wet track.
The second competition was in Jerez de la Frontera, where in the Saturday's
qualifying laps he got the 15th position,
on dry and wet track (not bad as second experience). He ended the race in 24th position
due to an electric problem to his motorbike.
He runs a third race in Valencia on December 13th 2003
and he finally gets great satisfaction from the pole position in the two
official practises, an overwhelming victory with 8"40 on the 2nd classified
and the fast lap.
It has been a very good result for a 14 years old boy riding bikes since 11
months, and who had run 9 competitions, 6 of which in the Sport Production.
In 2004 Sandi runs in the in the Trophy "Cuna de Campeones Repsol

fracture occurred during the tests in Jarama and won the "Cuna de Campeones"
with 40 points more than the second placed. During the 2004 season he
achieved two victories, one 2nd and two 3rd position in "Cuna de Campeones"
and one 3rd, two 5th, one 6th and one 15th position (caused by engine
problems) in CEV, with excellent timing lap results in competition and
